Anticipation is high in California this Spring as the revolutionary event and design company, The Do LaB, celebrates their 10th Lightning in a Bottle in a new location. For the first time, the whimsical and decadently transformative festival will make it’s way to the central coast. Hosted at the San Antonio Recreation Area in Bradley, California during Memorial Day Weekend (May 22 – 26, 2014), festival-goers will enjoy a heart and mind expanding weekend full of creative, spiritual, and enlightening experiences.

Since 2010, Lightning in a Bottle has received the Greener Festival in America Award for its sustainable efforts in waste management, repurposed materials, energy consumption, and filtered water stations. In addition, the festival exudes community involvement and encourages attendees to participate in many interactive art installations, workshops, and stages.

This year’s headlining artists include the legendary electronic music producer, Moby, Sweden’s indepenent giants, Little Dragon, and the fresh sounds of Phantagram. These musicians will be joined by local and foreign artists alike to keep the beats going from sunrise to sunset, and will widen the perspective of musical tastes enjoyed throughout the world.

Lightning in a Bottle’s residency for the weekend will be broken up into several distinct arenas with three music stages – the Lightning Stage (main), the Bamboo Stage (bass), and the Woogie Stage (house), plus the world renown Temple of Consciousness, a spiritual and earth-embracing center for motivational speakers, yoga sessions, mediation, and eco-workshops.

Highlighting some of the most talented community artists, Lightning in a Paintcan will also be back this year. Select painters will be dispersed throughout the grounds and will start with a fresh canvas on Friday morning. By Sunday night, all artists will complete their paintings and offer them for auction. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Do Art Foundation which helps encourage community creativity and brings art education to the public.

Set within a beautiful natural evironment, all tickets include camping passes. There are multiple tiers of camping accommodations, and in another first, the Do LaB will be offering “EZ Camping” packages starting at $1,000 for two people. This includes full camping setup, private restrooms, and access to a VIP lounge for the weekend.

True trailblazers in their industry, The Do LaB majestically enters the hearts of each attendee and captures the soul with an adventure of a lifetime. Radiating unity and a sense of belonging, Lightning in a Bottle is home to all who have the pleasure of resonating with it’s extensive beauty. Setting the bar high for all other festivals, The Do LaB puts on an unbelievable production that will open your mind to all things possible.
