Lily Gagliardi is the Founder and CEO of Lily’s Kids Inc. (LKI) a non-profit organization that is dedicated to promoting heart health for children, young adults and families. After being diagnosed with a congenital heart condition at the age of 17, Lily underwent a surgical procedure to correct her condition. Moved by the overwhelming response by others for her struggle, Lily was determined to help those with similar circumstances and started LKI while in college to fulfill this desire.

Over the past few years, Lily’s work educating community members, health care professionals and legislators on issues related to heart health and maternal and child health through forums, programs and policy earned her a spot on the 2014 Connecticut Magazine’s list of 40 Under 40. Lily also works with youth to motivate them to live heart healthy lives through an innovative program she developed.

Inspired by her work through LKI, Lily will soon be launching a healthy living website and integrating health coaching to further her mission to bring good health and happiness to as many people as possible.
