Millennial Magazine - Rich-Domschine-Quote

Rich Domschine began his construction career doing miscellaneous jobs such as carpentry work, soil remediation, and working for a restoration company.  He earned his degree at Central Connecticut State University in Construction Management, and after four years at school and an internship at Conn Acoustics Inc., was hired full time as a project manager and estimator.  There, Rich worked on projects for Eli Whitney Technical High School in Hamden Connecticut, Wilcox Technical High School in Meriden Connecticut, Yale University and ESPN.  Currently he works at GDS Contracting where he is an estimator and  project manager.

Rich’s daily duties consist of pricing man power as well as materials for specific projects for General Contractors and Construction Managers.  Once he wins the contract, he manages man power, cost and ordering of material, and handles any changes that the architect may decide to make.

Rich Domschine enjoys his profession and sees every day as a learning experience and a chance to further develop his skills.
