On August 1, 2015, Matte productions took over the Brooklyn Mirage, a summer pop-up venue, in the heart of Brooklyn’s industrial district to throw one of 2015’s best day festivals: The Full Moon Fest. With 26 performers split between three stages, the party was never ending from 3pm to 6am.

Making this gorgeous summer eve come to life were headliners Yelle, Tensnake, and Rüfüs Du Sol, in addition to, Crew Love artists Wolf & Lamb, Soul Clap, and Nick Monaco among others.

This urban oasis was transformed into a musical jungle for romping New York socialites as 20-foot high living walls adorned with tropical flora created a rich environment. Euphoric misters kept the sticky East Coast heat from melting daytime dancers as the beach sand spread throughout the front of the main stage fooled people into believing they were on a deserted island.

As the sun began to set, attendees headed for the rooftop decks to overlook the breathtaking sunset over the Manhattan skyline. When golden rays turned into colored laser beams, the performers picked it up a notch and forced dancers to move so hard their toes went numb.

Celebrating their fifth year of feet stomping, heart pounding, smile flowing good times, the Full Moon Fest did not disappoint. To view the full album of photos from the event or to be in the know of more fun times from Matte, be sure to follow them on Facebook.
