Nothing defines a hotel quite like its hospitality. Service can either make or break an experience. And when it comes to the best money can buy, no one understands quality treatment better than the staff of London’s Grosvenor House Suites by Jumeriah.

Situated in the middle of Mayfair, a posh neighborhood in Central London, sits this palatial hotel. Calling itself home to royalty from all around the world, the Grosvenor House Suites doubles as a luxury residence directly across the street from Hyde Park. But you wouldn’t know it!

Blending in with the rest of the Park Street facing properties, this oasis hides all its glamour and allure behind a modest and discreet front. For the utmost privacy, the 5-star hotel insists on not being open to the public, but rather accessible by guests-only.

While not everyone can afford to be a resident in one of London’s most glamorous towers, it is certainly worth a weekend getaway. Here is what to expect from a stay.

Greeted with Glamour

Think of the Grosvenor House Suites like specialty flats with the ultimate concierge. From the moment you enter the ground floor, the hotel staff graciously takes your bags and escorts you to the second floor where the check in awaits.

Upon arrival, the receptionist greets you by name and offers you a complimentary glass of champagne. Alongside the front desk is a beautiful atrium restaurant, exclusively for hotel guests and residents.

With relaxing tones of charcoals and jade, the plush environment is accented with chic fireplaces and tropical plants. Anchoring the sky-high glass ceiling is a large-scale signature red chandelier.

We highly recommend stopping in for a drink or a quick bite at some point! The ambiance is worth it.

Luxury Suites

On the minimum, each room at the Grosvenor House Suites comes with a full bedroom, living room and kitchen. Spaces range from one bedrooms suites to three or four bedroom penthouses. Rooms start at $650 per night.

Designed for those traveling on business with a few team members or for comfortable family getaways, the rooms offer more space than the typical Central London hotel.

Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, you can expect a touch screen camera to view that visitor at your door, four different light settings to fit any mood, and electric blinds wired for every window. Music hook ups are also enabled from the large flat screen television in the living room, which plays music throughout the entire space, including the bathroom!

Rooms are decorated in sophisticated blacks and whites. Comfortable gray wool sofas are accented with brown leather finishes, matching pillows and eastern pashmina throws. If you are lucky enough to get the Park View Suite, living room windows are graced with beautiful tree-lined streets overlooking Hyde Park.

And no house is complete without a full kitchen! The House Suites fully live up to its name by offering guests an array of pots and pans, cooking and serving ware, a dishwasher, stovetop, and large fridge. But the best part of the kitchen is the on-site laundry! Yes, the kitchen even has a wash and drying machine.

The bedrooms offer everything you would want from a luxury hotel – a king size bed with a goose-down duvet, lots of fluffy pillows, and of course, bathrobes and slippers. Each bedroom comes with an en-suite bathroom, complete with rainforest shower, Japanese sink tub, and vanity lit mirrors.

Comfort to the Max

Once the initial wow factor settles, the space quickly becomes your own and it immediately starts to feel like home. Whether for business or leisure, the House Suites offer a great way to relax in elevated style while visiting London.
