Hone Your Keywords
Choosing the right keywords for your personal brand is vital to make sure you appear in search results. To find the best keywords, I recommend using the Chrome extension, Keywords Everywhere.
This handy browser plugin gives you access to keyword data that will change the way you think about search. When you have this tool turned on, you'll be able to see the monthly search volume, competition, trending, and SEO difficulty data for any word or phrase.
To get the most out of this tool, think of terms that people may use to search for someone with your expertise. With each keyword search, analyze the metrics and long-tail keyword recommendations.
From there, export the data, upload it into a spreadsheet, and make a calculated decision on which keywords are best for your personal brand based on the lowest percentages
Below are some tutorials from Keywords Everywhere that will help get you started.
