Rock Jacobs is a writer, director, and producer out of Hollywood, CA. Originally from the Bay area, he attended San Francisco state majoring in Film Production. He remembers being almost kicked out of school for shooting a full on car chase between two sports cars through the campus’ parking garage. Seven years later, Rock was riding around with SF’s chief of police mapping out roads to shut down for DJ Sharam’s music video “Fun,” which recreated the famous chase scene in Steve McQueen’s 1968 classic Bullit.

Since graduating, he has directed numerous music videos for artists ranging from Marilyn Manson to Lil Wayne, having reached number one throughout North America, South America, Europe, and Asia. He has also directed commercials for companies like McDonalds and Sony, and currently has over 350 million views combined on YouTube.
