Movie Theater of the Week: Route 66 Drive In Theater

While Springfield, Illinois is best known for being the residence of Abraham Lincoln prior to becoming president, it is also home to a rare drive-in theater called Route 66. The perfect summer getaway for dates or simple gatherings with friends, Route 66 Drive-In Theater offers movie-goers blockbuster films at affordable prices, large digital projection screens with state of the art sound, and concession stands to buy snacks and drinks.

General admission prices are $7 for adults, $4 for children 12 and under, and toddlers under the age of 3 are free.
