With the ball drop back in full force and a limited amount of attendees this year, the NYC New Year’s Eve celebration attracted the global jet set. And to accommodate their guests, The Edition rolled out some over-the-top programming to usher in 2022 in style.
The Times Square Edition, The Outdoor Gardens
The night’s festivities were held at The Terrace and Outdoor Gardens, and included welcome drinks and canapés, a five-hour open bar, a five-course tasting menu curated by acclaimed chef John Fraser, and a premium wine pairing curated by 2021 Esquire’s Beverage Director of the Year Amy Racine.

The event also included live music, VIP access to viewing the ball drop in Times Square, as well as entrance to the after-party at 701 West, the hotel’s upscale bar and restaurant. The after-party included its own two-hour open bar from 12 a.m. to 2 a.m. The price for the event was $3,000 per person (excluding tax and gratuity).

Hotel Effie Sandestin’s New Years Eve VIP Experience helped one lucky power couple throw the ultimate New Year’s Eve celebration with a total of six guests, right from the comfort of the hotel’s extravagant Presidential Suite!
The Ultimate Pre-Party. Guests arrived to the extremely spacious, sophisticated Presidential Suite decked out to be the perfect private party venue. To get the party started, Hotel Effie had a personal bartender in-suite throughout the evening, serving a collection of high-end champagnes such as Ace of Spades, Veuve, and Dom Perignon. As the music bumped through the private suite, the culinary team delivered a huge spread of hot and cold tapas prepared by Hotel Effie’s culinary team, led by James Beard award-winning Chef Hugh Acheson. The suite’s private balcony provided the perfect setting to toast the new year with friends and family while enjoying the shimmering views of fireworks at the Village at Baytowne Wharf.

A Fine-Dining Feast at Ovide. An indulgent dinner was served at Ovide, Hotel Effie’s signature restaurant led by the renowned chef Hugh Acheson, featuring an all-you-can-eat seafood raw bar, gourmet entrées, a spread of decadent sweets at the dessert buffet, and the quintessential champagne toast.

A Rooftop Party Steps From The Presidential Suite. At 10:00 pm, VIPs brought their friends and family in for the fun with six tickets to the exclusive New Year’s Eve party at the Ara Rooftop Pool and Lounge. The live DJ, heated pool, photo booth, party favors, and panoramic views of the fireworks across the Emerald Coast kept the festivities going long past the midnight countdown. All of the fun with none of the hassle, as home court was a mere elevator ride away!

A Divine Start to the New Year’s Day. To help fight off any post-party hangovers, a private Bloody Mary cocktail station was delivered to the Presidential Suite in the morning. A New Year’s Day brunch for two, live Jazz music, mimosa flights, and more was waiting for the guests to make their way downstairs. After the dining experience, a choice of two services at Hotel Effie’s luxurious Spa Lilliana was provided to ensure the power couple left feeling revived, refreshed and ready for a new year.
The VIP package also included complimentary valet parking, New Year’s Eve welcome amenities, four custom Hotel Effie blankets, and late checkout. Everything you could ever want from an all-inclusive VIP experience.
