5. Mattress Care

As soon as you get your mattress, ensure you let it air for about 4 hours. That’s to get rid of any storage smells of cold or damp. You should ideally air the mattress weekly by removing the linen from your bed. Remember to regularly turn your mattress too. This will prevent dips from forming and your weight affecting part of the mattress resulting in uneven sleeping. 

You can also keep your mattress clean by using a mattress protector. This is the sheet you use before your bed linen to prevent your mattress from being stained or dirty.
