Amanda Vernon: Recording Artist
Through a genre she calls, “soulful pop,” Amanda Vernon speaks to authentic beauty through music. This singer, pianist, and composer has over a decade of experience in both studio recording and live performance. Supported by her family and faith community, she began her recording career at the age of 15. She has performed across the U.S. and in six foreign countries.
Winner of the pop/electronic music genre in the international competition “ArtPrize” (September 2013), she recently sang the National Anthem for a crowd of over 70,000 at the iconic Lambeau Field for a Green Bay Packers game (August 2014). All the while, Amanda is a young mom who just finished a 10-month, coast-to-coast tour with her children and her husband/manager. The couple is expecting their third child in under 4 years. “You have your hands full” is an expression she hears often.
Amanda’s hands are full with the work of living her dreams. This autumn marks 2 years since her husband stepped away from his job in sales to team with Amanda full time in their artist management company, Joyful Noise. They have crafted a long-range plan to offer other independent musicians a blueprint for achieving their own dreams through professional success.
