Millennial Magazine - Dr. Christine Girgis Quote

During her years of optometry school, Dr. Christine Girgis fell in love with the profession and even more so with patient interaction. She intentionally selected clinical training opportunities in different locations across the United States to learn to care for people from all walks of life. Her training included primary care optometry at the Brooklyn Veterans’ Affairs Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. She was also trained in pediatric optometry and low vision/geriatric care at the Illinois Eye Institute in Chicago, IL.

Dr. Christine Girgis has been trained to diagnose and manage various ocular diseases including cataracts, retinal diseases, glaucoma, oculoplastics, and pre/post-operative care management for procedures related to all of these conditions and LASIK. She concluded her academic training at a private practice in Tallahassee, FL, with a focus on corneal diseases and contact lenses. Since her graduation in 2014, she has served on a medical mission trip to Bolivia, providing free optometric care to underprivileged populations through the Coptic Medical Association of North America. She is currently practicing optometry at Linden Optometry in Pasadena, CA and at Dr. Paul Crismon’s Optometry in Norwalk, CA.

Dr. Christine Girgis values each patient encounter as an opportunity to grow personally and professionally.
