SeaVenture Hotel Offers Couples the Perfect Beach Hideaway

Millennial Magazine - SeaVenture-Hotel-Spa-thmb

Have you noticed the love in the air? New relationships seem to be blossoming during COVID. If you’re one of those lucky love birds, we have the ultimate romantic summer getaway for you! Whether you need a weekend escape or a little pit stop along a coastal road trip, we recommend sneaking away to the SeaVenture Hotel in Pismo Beach.

Don’t let the 80s exterior dissuade you from the experience you’ll find inside. SeaVenture is undergoing an extensive renovation, having already started with their guest rooms. This is a one of a kind beachfront property that will leave you wishing you stayed longer.

SeaVenture Hotel Comforts all the Right Places

Cape Cod meets the Central Coast in these perfect beach hideaways. Hardwood floors lead you through an open studio suite. A large King bed sits in a picket fence bed frame, regally looking out to the famous Pismo Beach. What a dream during Covid!

The room comes equipped with its own wet bar and wine cellar. A perfect way for those exploring the vineyards to keep their local wine chilled. It’s also the largest fridge we’ve ever seen in a hotel room!

From a second story balcony, relax in your private hot tub (yes, you read that right!) as you watch the waves roll onto long stretches of shore. Catch the most spectacular sunset as you cozy up next to your in-room fireplace. We love the mix of comfort and luxury of these new rooms, all while being steps from the sand.

New Chef, New Menu

Head up to the third floor restaurant to take in the panoramic views of Pismo. Executive Chef Steven Smeets recently joined the hotel and brought with him a contemporary coastal menu. Enjoy seasonal produce, premium meats, and high quality seafood while pairing with native wines.

We highly recommend you try the Beet Salad! If you’re not one for beets, this salad will change your mind. Fresh sweet beets, paired with goat cheese, hazelnuts, and fennel drizzled with aged balsamic vinegar and topped with a parmesan crisp is literally heaven on a plate.

Once lockdown ends, Chef Smeets will be launching a new Waves to Wine dining experience. Pismo Beach is known for its daily farmers markets. Chef Smeets plans to take guests out to the market with him as he forages for the best ingredients. He will explain the intention behind each dish as he shops, then lead guests back into the kitchen to prepare their meal. We sure are hoping quarantine ends soon, since this sounds like a fabulous adventure for foodies.
