Millennial Magazine - Mary Hurley Quote

For almost 17 years, Mary Hurley lived the crazy-busy life of a performing arts manager and loved it. With that life, however, came a great deal of stress and the development of less than healthy habits until one day life came to a screeching halt in the form of a paralyzing panic attack.  After coming to the understanding of the very real, physical toll that “soldiering on” through prolonged high stress and unhealthy habits took on her body, Mary embarked on a journey to use food, exercise, and healthy lifestyle choices to heal the damage.

In 2013, Mary decided to “retire” from arts management and become a full-time holistic health coach and personal trainer. She created Sunshine-n-Daisies with the mission to help stressed-out people with busy and unpredictable schedules take back control of their bodies, and by extension their lives. She trained at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, and is certified by the American Association of Drugless Practicioners (AADP). In addition, Mary Hurley is certified as a personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise and holds specialty certificates in Therapeutic Exercise, Orthopedic Exercise and Senior Fitness programming. She takes appointments in person, by telephone, or through the Internet.
