Lavender (Lavandula)

The romantic and calming smell combined with the healing properties of Lavender prove to be a wonderful addition to any garden. The Lavender plant is an item every gardner succumbs to grow sooner or later. Its tolerance to many growing conditions make it an easy addition to any landscape. It is extremely drought resistant and thrives in dry, warm weather. Set them 12-18 inches apart in well-drained soil in an open area with full sun. Once the buds start to show new growth, prune lightly to promote branching.

I have a passion for living in the moment. As a photographer I capture life the way my heart sees it. Capturing these moments in an authentic and genuine nature is what I strive for. Whether it be the minute details or a broad overview, I try to emphasize the natural beauty and emotional substance of a moment.
