Alicia Cutaia earned her BFA with honors from Point Park University with a double major in Classical Ballet and Jazz. She has since gone on to work and perform in pieces by many renowned choreographers from around the world. For the last eight years, Alicia has worked as the Rehearsal Director, Costume Manager and Dancer with Eisenhower Dance in Michigan, but recently moved to Portland in September to pursue a new opportunity with BodyVox Dance Center.
While she enjoys dancing and teaching, Alicia is also making her presence known as a choreographer. Her work has been showcased at many choreographic festivals across the country including Jazz Dance World Congress, Harvest Contemporary Dance Festival and Kaleidoscope Dance Festival. Her pieces have won numerous awards and many of her students have been granted scholarships to prestigious programs.
