Restaurant of the Week: The Brahmin
Restaurant of the Week: The Brahmin
Opened in August 2011, The Brahmin American Cuisine & Cocktails pays homage to Boston’s most inconspicuous subcultures of the early 20th century – the Boston Brahmin. The Back Bay restaurant and lounge evokes the elegance of a historic brownstone with illuminated chandeliers, tufted banquettes, and a full wrap around copper bar.
The Brahmin’s unique menu features small plates of classic American dishes with a modern twist that are perfect for sharing and group dining. Their handcrafted cocktails are a perfect compliment to any of their skillfully made menu items.
The Brahmin provides the perfect atmosphere for any occasion whether you are looking for a casual night out for dinner or drinks or a more significant event such as a birthday, anniversary, corporate gathering, holiday party, or any other kind of get-together. With several different function rooms and semi-private areas, The Brahmin can accommodate groups from 10 up to 370.
With live entertainment and a DJ during dinner, The Brahmin offers a unique and engaging environment for restaurant guests 6 nights a week. Music at pleasant, audible levels plays throughout the main room as well as on the patio to suit the dinner crowd into the late night hours. Special events and weekly promotions provide an additional benefit for local, valued customers. On Friday and Saturday night, The Brahmin transforms from an upscale restaurant to a late night lounge accommodating Boston’s elite young professionals.
The Brahmin is located at 33 Stanhope Street, Boston MA.
